Free Family Day

To ensure that our students take what they learn in class and integrate those skills into their everyday lives, we involve their families at the end of each term by holding a free family day. Parents and carers are invited to attend and learn techniques and exercises to try at home with their children.

Not only does it provide a space for proud students to be able to show off their newfound skills, it also allows parents and carers the opportunity to see first hand the exercises and techniques their children are using to participate in healthy living.

So often as parents we are racing home from work, cooking dinner, doing the homework, getting the kids to bed and doing the house work before falling into a deep sleep; only to wake up and do it all again. In this Free Class, parents, carers and children participate in games and relaxation activities that they can then take home and use on a regular basis. We provide fun, ‘bite-sized’ exercises that they can try at home to help each family member unwind and connect with each other.
